I am a self taught artist. I paint in all mediums, I am currently doing large abstracts or impressionistic paintings in large format. Using acrylics and mixed media. I also teach painting techniques in workshops I conduct about 3 times a year. I teach professional painters as well as beginners.

EDUCATION

• Studied under internationally renowned artists; Valfred Thelin and Nicholas Reale.
• Recipient of the Hilton Leech Friends of the Arts and Sciences Scholarship, and completed Edward Betts' master watercolor class.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Instructor at Longboat Key Art Center and Hilton Leech, Longboat Key, Florida
• Currently teaches art techniques to private students
• Guest artist on TV shows: Focus on the Arts, Sarasota FL, Focus on the Stars, San Jose, California and PBS’ Four Artists, Carmel, California
• Guest Artist on Scientific Alaskan Expedition illustrating wildlife interaction, 1982
• Invited by the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia to teach painting at Princess Norda’s new cultural center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 1999
• Produced a three part video series on painting techniques, 1999
• Listed in National Directory of Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals, 1996-1999
• Paintings showcased and leased to ABC's hit series, The Bachelor, 2005
• Listed in Who’s Who in America 2006
